Cholesterol Lowering

Indication

• Adjunct to diet for the treatment of hypercholesterolaemia

Dosage

• 10mg to 80mg given as a single dose in the evening
• Titrate to patients response but adjustments should be made at intervals of not less than 4 weeks
• PBS Restricted listing requires strict guidelines to be met

• 5mg, 30 s – Blister: film coated, oblong, biconvex, yellow tablets with a score line and inscripted with “SVT” and “5”
• 10mg, 30 s – Blister: film coated, oblong, biconvex, white tablets with a score line and inscripted with “SVT” and “10”
• 20mg, 30 s – Blister: film coated, oblong, biconvex, white tablets with a score line and inscripted with “SVT” and “20”
• 40mg, 30 s – Blister: film coated, oblong, biconvex, white tablets with a score line and inscripted with “SVT” and “40”
• 80mg, 30 s – Blister: film coated, oblong, biconvex, white tablets with a score line and inscripted with “SVT” and “80”
